Cancellations & Refunds 


For bonfires that do not require a Special Event Permit


Plans change. Coastal conditions change. Regulations change.
Our goal is to make booking feel safe and straightforward, even when circumstances shift.


County Cancellation

If  Walton County cancels your bonfire for any reason, including wind or safety conditions, we will provide you a full refund, including the permit fee.

County permit fees are non-refundable to us. However, if Walton County cancels your bonfire, we pay that cost so you don't have to.


Guest Cancellation

Because county permits must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable, our guest cancellation policy is based on when we purchase the permits.


More than 14 days before your scheduled bonfire (before we purchase the permits):

Before 14 days, you may cancel for any reason and receive a 100% full refund of all amounts paid.


Within 14 days of your scheduled bonfire (after we purchase the permits) and more than 3 hours before start time:

You will receive a booking credit equal to the amount paid minus the permit fee. Permit fees are non-refundable, and new permit fees will apply when you reschedule for a different date.


There are no refunds or booking credits for same-day cancellations within 3 hours of the scheduled start time.


Weather

Rain alone does not result in automatic cancellation. If you cancel the bonfire due to weather and the county has not cancelled the bonfire, the cancellation will be handled under the Guest Cancellation terms above. If Walton County cancels the bonfire due to weather or safety conditions, the cancellation will be handled under the County Cancellation terms above. 


Beach Conditions & Turtle Nesting

We operate with respect for the shoreline, the white sand beaches, and the wildlife that make the Emerald Coast special. In rare cases, protected turtle nesting areas or beach conditions may require location adjustments. When this happens, we coordinate alternative nearby locations in advance so your experience remains smooth.
